Snow, why couldn't you wait till Sunday?
Unfortunately the snow decided it should come on a day where people have things to do, like put on a show, when really it should have waited until Sunday. The dream of every single Jr. High and High School kid and teacher...is for a snow day. One measly day where we can stay at home, sleep, drink coffee and/or hot cocoa, snuggle up in a big blanket and catch up on everything we've neglected to do during the school week. Homework is a touchy subject with us kids, some teachers just lay it on. Unfortunately. Since we now have a 6 period day, you'd think the teachers would give out less homework, right? Wrong. They give out the same, if not more. It's understandable that homework is forgotten and much more is late now that we have extra classes. I'm not sure if the teachers just don't realize that some of us have...jobs, extra curricular activites, lives, etc...or if they just like us to never have sleep. Situations such as mine are why this snow should have waited until Sunday night. Then I'd have an extra day to read a book and do a project on it, of which I got on Wednesday. See what I mean? These teachers expect us to read and do a project on a new book in 5 days. We usually take a whole month to just read the book! Goodness graciousness. I am ready to get out of high school.
